Fireplace Safety Screens

We design fireplace safety screens to improve the overall design and safety of your fireplace. We have a specific focus on designing safety screens for gas fireplaces with glass fronts to prevent potential burns when someone touches the hot glass front that is built into many models of gas fireplaces.

The glass panel on the front of a gas fireplace heats up to over 350 degrees Fahrenheit on most gas fireplaces. In recent years manufacturers have made their gas fireplaces bigger and they burn hotter, and the glass remains hot for at least 30 minutes after the fireplace is turned off. Our safety screens are build to create a barrier between your hand and the hot glass.

Made_In_The_USA_rWe also design fireplace safety screens for a type of wood burning fireplace called a Prefabricated wood burning fireplace. They were very popular in the 70's - early 90's. You can see photos of this style of fireplace in our before and after section.

Our gas fireplace safety screens have been designed to prevent people from being able to touch the hot glass and give the fireplace a nice makeover. Touching the hot glass is the way most people get burned by a gas fireplace. Prior to 2014, many gas fireplace manufacturers didn't design a safety screen for their fireplaces so buying our screen is one of the ways to have a screen made that attaches to your fireplace.

Fireplace Safetyscreens - How to Order Your Screen It’s an easy process, but it all begins with 2 photos! 1. Take photos of each unique size of fireplace you need screens for. One photo should be straight-on and the other should be at an angle. 2. E-mail these photos to sales@fireplacesafetyscreens.com – please include your name and phone number. 3. We’ll reach out with the rest of the instructions once we’ve reviewed your photos.Even our screens, which act as a decorative barrier that prevents you from touching the hot glass, will still get very hot and could still cause a burn if someone touches it for a long enough period of time. Bottom line the goal is to prevent people from touching the hot glass and that is what our screens do.

Our screens are custom made in the USA to meet the exact specifications of each customer’s unique fireplace. We offer both Simple Black Safety Screens and more Decorative Safety Screens with unique door designs so we can help you design a screen that is just right for your needs.
