What is Our Gas Fireplace Safety Screen?
Everyone wants to keep their family safe in front of their fireplace. The problem is that glass panels on a gas fireplace can heat up to over 350° (and stay hot for long after the fire goes out). To make matters worse, safety screens didn’t become mandatory until 2015 so millions of fireplaces are left with exposed glass.
The result is that three children under 6 years of age go to the Emergency Room every day because of contact with a hot fireplace*. Our safety screens create an additional
barrier to help prevent direct contact with the glass. It’s a simple, safe and smart design that really works.
We know what it’s like to not use your fireplace because you’re worried about your children touching the glass when no one’s not looking. Michael Dorsey, (President & Lead Designer of Fireplace Safety Screen) has more than 30 years of experience in designing and manufacturing the right safety screen for each gas fireplace application.
Our screens are trusted by Marriott and Wyndham properties all over North America and are actively keeping thousands of families safe.
We can help do the same for you.
